Traditional construction and industrial planning is still based on rigid master plans, linear processes, and the illusion of complete predictability. However, in a reality marked by a shortage of skilled workers, volatile markets, supply bottlenecks, and increasing complexity, this way of thinking is increasingly leading to delays, cost overruns, and inefficiencies. This presentation shows why the master plan in its current form is reaching its limits—and how Lean and Agile methods enable a new quality of planning: adaptive, value-driven, and implementation-oriented. Using concrete examples from commercial and industrial projects, the presentation explains how planning evolves from a static document into a dynamic management tool that shortens lead times, reduces risks, and reorganizes collaboration.
