What is Zukunftstag Mittelstand?
The BVMW hosted the inaugural edition of Zukunftstag Mittelstand in 2023 with the aim of providing a platform for networking and exchange between decision-makers in business and politics. It is an arena for discussion of issues crucial to the future of companies in the Mittelstand, from digitalisation and the energy transition to New Work, mobility and connectivity.
Keynotes and talks by prestigious speakers from the highest echelons of power and authority will provide valuable input you can apply to secure your companyâs future. Additionally, a host of forums and lounges will offer excellent opportunities to make new contacts and network in the exquisite surroundings of STATION-Berlin.
The next edition of Zukunftstag Mittelstand will take place on 13 March 2024. From 9am to 10pm (doors open at 8:30am), you can experience a day filled with fascinating discussions, inspiring information and high-quality networking.
What is the BVMW?
The German Mittelstand. BVMW e.V. is the largest voluntary network of small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany. We have roughly 300 regional branch offices that connect leaders from companies in the German Mittelstand at over 2,000 business networking events each year. Founded as a national association for the Mittelstand in 1975, we have successfully represented its interests in the political sphere ever since. You can find out more about us on our website.
How can I secure a ticket?
All BVMW members should have received an invitation to Zukunftstag Mittelstand by email. However, if you are a member and have not yet received this email, or would like to register further employees from your company, please contact us at event@zukunftstag-mittelstand.de. Â
Non-members of the BVMW can purchase their ticket online. Simply visit our website for full details of tickets and prices and complete the registration process.
To the tickets
Once you have registered and paid for your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email. This email contains your downloadable eTicket as a PDF. You must present this eTicket in either printed or digital form to gain admission to the event.
What payment methods can I use to pay for my ticket?
You can use the following payment methods to purchase your ticket:

By clicking on âZahlungspflichtig buchenâ, you agree to register for the event and pay for your ticket.
After completing your booking, you will receive confirmation via email along with an invoice containing complete payment information.
Can I transfer my ticket for someone else to attend?
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is not possible unless individually negotiated and agreed. It is also not possible to withdraw from the agreement. Â
Any right of revocation is excluded from the outset given that you are an entrepreneur. However, any such right would also be excluded pursuant to Section 312(2)(9) of the German Civil Code (BGB) if you purchased a ticket for the event as a consumer. Â
You do have the option to transfer your ticket to another person.
Where can I find the BVMW stand?
You can find the BVMW along with its various interest groups, such as âStrong Women â Strong Mittelstandâ, in Hall 3 on the ground floor. We look forward to welcoming you.

Are there allocated hotel rooms for visitors? Which hotel should I book?
We have arranged a limited room allocation for those attending Zukunftstag Mittelstand. Further information is available on this website:
Hotels
If you would like to stay in one of these hotels, we recommend making a booking as soon as possible: March is a very busy month for business in Berlin and our allocation of rooms is limited.
Will there be a shuttle service?
No, there will not be a shuttle service. However, you can take advantage of an exclusive âŹ15 Uber credit for your journey to and from the event. You can find the relevant code on your entry ticket and on the badge we will give you upon arrival.
How should I travel to the event? (i.e. location, directions)
By public transportÂ
U-Bahn: Take the U1 or U2 line and alight at either Gleisdreieck, which is immediately adjacent, or MöckernbrĂŒcke, which is approx. 6 mins away on foot.
S-Bahn: Take S1/S2/S25/S26 and alight at Anhalter Bahnhof, which is approx. 8 mins away on footÂ
Bus: Take the 248 bus and alight at Möckernstrasse. Other bus routes (e.g. M41) are available to S-Bahn station Anhalter Bahnhof, which is approx. 8 mins away on foot.Â

Travelling on the A100 towards Dresden, take the exit for B96 â Tempelhofer Damm.
Turn left onto Tempelhofer Damm. Continue straight ahead to Mehringdamm.Â
Turn left onto Hallesches Ufer. Turn left onto Schöneberger Strasse and then turn left onto Luckenwalder Strasse.
STATION-Berlin is on the right-hand side.Â

Will the event be accessible?
Yes, almost all rooms are accessible. The venue has two accessible toilets. Please donât hesitate to contact us to discuss any specific needs you may have.

How can I apply for the Zukunftspreis Mittelstand?
Giving hidden champions in Europe a platform ââŻthatâs what the BVMW hopes to achieve by awarding the Zukunftspreis Mittelstand 2024.

Does attending the pre-opening dinner on 12 March 2024 automatically register me for Zukunftstag Mittelstand itself?
While you are explicitly invited to attend the pre-opening dinner, this does not guarantee you entry to Zukunftstag Mittelstand 2023 on 13 March 2024. You need a separate ticket for each event.
